" Quad Rotor Mechanism Assisted Robot For Lunar Surface Analyzing And Research "

This Research paper consists of design of rover for future lunar mission that uses vertical take off and landing (VTOL) on extraterrestrial surfaces the rover design to explore the surface of the moon uses four propellers to lift on the moon surface and produce thrust to travel up on the surface for examination.the main aim of design is to reduce cost and prevent damage for the kinematic structure of the rover while travelling on the moon surface .An aerodynamic concept of the rover on the moon ambiance is studied in this paper.The rover is designed using main principles of strength of materials and kinematics of machines to make the rover well suitable for all terrain areas. The rover is actually a multi task performer since it have installed a channel which carries robotic arm for purpose of surface analyzing and research.these analyzing equipment will be in upper section.where the robotic arm are fabricated under the degree of freedom of 3.the robotic arm which installed will acts as penetrator ,sample collector,track locator,surface analyzer.the modelling of the dynamics and kinematic of the rover is carried out like an aircraft's motion as well of its motors and sensors.

New Project Started

Dear Folks,

I have started my next robotic project and it will be my 12th Robot in 4 consecutive years............

Assembly Robot


This project is about the Industrial purpose robot . which is a Multi-tasks performer. It satisfies the current industrial usages such as precission, accuracy, and manpower. It is a versatile one have an ability of performing Multi tasks required at a time. Where there is a need for mass production. Such as automobile and research organizations. This includes mechanisms which are used to assemble the various components {gears, pinons, spur gears, gear housings, racks, etc..,} and we have designed this meant for production of gear box manufacturing and its assembly. The tasks performed by the robots is GEAR BOX ASSEMBLY
The mechanisms which include in the gear box assembly are totally six in numbers they are classified as drilling, screwing, pick, drag, component selections and assembly

THE FUNCTIONS:
In initial level it will select the component which is need to gear box. In the second level it will pick the selected component,In third level of function it will drag the gear box housing.In the fourth level it fixes the gear box components.In the fifth level it will close the housing and drill the housing for screwing.In the final level(sixth) the drill positions will be screwed the assembled gear box will be send to the testing unit .

MARKETABILITY:  
 Economically this will encourage the entrepreneurs to invest in this product. This will be a first robot to perform a Multi tasks. It is consists of various mechanisms since it will reduce the investment amount in buying several single operated machines. Though it is six in one type. And it has the feature of cheap and best. And it is user friendly too.I believe these factors will make the product to gain good success in the market. And substituting this new versatile technology will make the industry to get good profit. And it will be the first industrial robot to perform the Multi tasks at a time. And if it success in commercial level, it will definitely be one of the toughest competitor of manufacturing the robotic products to the other leading countries in this world arena.

TECHNICAL DETAILS:
It is a drive controlled robot with dc motors circuits, gears, with self power supply. we have design it as 360 degree rotatable arm with 3 axis performance it is also self programmed and controlled by sensors and relay controls. It has an housing with the aluminum sheet it may help this robot as a dust free one .and this may help full to be good heat emitter too. And this also a compact thing which is more user friendly too. It has a perfect housing to act as a shock protection. And the electric consumption techniques are used to save electricity. Totally it consists of six robotic arm which resembles the human arm .it have the programmed sensor to select the work piece to make as a component. It is programmed to assemble the component it consists of three actuators in single robotic arm and totally 18 actuators. The robotic arms are having three dimensional axial rotations. All drives are assigned to work on the single energy source and this leads to energy consumption.

Nijanthan Vasudevan final year mechanical engineering student of Raja college of engineering,Madurai.and his friend Ahmed jalaludeen of Final year Electrical & Electronics department same college was very determined in achieving big heights in Robotics field.
Within short period of time of 3 years they have accomplished almost 6 working prototype Robots such as Humanoid robot for defense,Industrial robotic arm for assembly,and exhibited in national level expos and awarded many awards and rewards for that.
Recently They have done a robot for lunar surface to detect the water samples.and awarded 1st prize for that too.
When We interviewed them they said " To do researches about extra-terrestrial areas we are need of the soil/surface samples,this can be achieved by using rover type robots which we have developed and developing industrial type of robots with lead a pathway of utilizing manpower in best way,by substituting the robots in hazardous and menacing works.and developing an artificial intelligence Robots are our dreams..."
And they also said they their goal is to do robots for real time environment which will useful to common man.and these has been done because of the supports from their friends & parents.and they said they will reach better heights in robotics
